What does a District Leader do?

  1. Serve on the Bronx Democratic County Committee.
  2. Make recommendations for vacancies in the County Committee.
  3. Vote on the Chairperson of the Bronx Democratic Party’s Executive Committee.
  4. Assign poll workers to election sites within the district for the primary, special, and general elections.
Unofficially, a District Leader is an ambassador to the Democratic Party and should work to organize, advocate, and galvanize his or her community around issues that are affecting their neighbors.
