What does a District Leader do?
- Serve on the Bronx Democratic County Committee.
- Make recommendations for vacancies in the County Committee.
- Vote on the Chairperson of the Bronx Democratic Party’s Executive Committee.
- Assign poll workers to election sites within the district for the primary, special, and general elections.
Unofficially, a District Leader is an ambassador to the Democratic Party and should work to organize, advocate, and galvanize his or her community around issues that are affecting their neighbors.
